Wreck Cove Wilderness Cottages are located on the Cabot Trail, just south of Ingonish, on beautiful Cape Breton Island and offer a peaceful and relaxing setting while on your Nova Scotia vacation. Situated on a 29-acre oceanfront property and nestled in the woods, our fully equipped housekeeping cottages are within minutes of walking trails that lead to the ocean’s edge and off into the Highlands. This area of the Cabot Trail is fast becoming known as "Cape Breton's Nature Coast". 

Wreck Cove is one of the ‘North Shore’ communities of Cape Breton’s rugged highlands that offer spectacular scenery including freshwater lakes, the open ocean of the Atlantic and the peaks of the highlands. Enjoy the many activities our area has to offer such as hiking, kayaking, hunting, fishing, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling and shoeshoeing. For the golf enthusiast, the Cape Breton Highland Golf Links and Bell Bay Golf Courses are just a short drive away. Enjoy the panoramic views as you drive along the scenic Cabot Trail. If you just want to kick back and relax, a 25 kilometre drive will take you to Ingonish Beach.

Our accommodations include two 2-bedroom housekeeping cottages (Double beds; each accommodates up to 6 adults), with 4-piece bath, television, woodstove, electric heat, microwave, coffeemaker, and BBQ. Cottages are non-smoking. Pets are allowed with permission. Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Cancellation Policy: Must cancel at least 7 days prior to day of arrival (to avoid a credit card charge). If the policy is not met, the guest’s credit card will be charged 100% if the room is not re-rented. If the room is re-rented, there will be no charge.
