Tranquil Times B&B is a scenic lakefront getaway in Annapolis County, about 20 minutes outside of historic Annapolis Royal. Afternoons can be enjoyed in the pool or relaxing on a lounge chair with a good book and a cool glass of lemonade. Canoes are available at no cost for guest use, or enjoy a stroll along our 1km tree-lined path. Evenings can include a lakeside bonfire with hot dogs and marshmallows to roast over the fire. For star-gazing enthusiasts, incredibly clear nights provide excellent viewing of the stars, planets and satellites.

Raven Haven, Annapolis County's largest public beach, is 5 kilometers away by road or water. Canoes, paddle boats and kayaks are available to rent, and a boat launch is available. The living museum of Port Royal Habitation evokes the beginning of Canada's oldest continuously inhabited place, and North America's second-oldest. Stroll along the ancient grassy walls, have a picnic under the parapet and see the barracks with uniformed guides at the Fort Anne National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal. In Kejimkujik National Park, you can walk through the wilderness, kayak, canoe, cycle, take a guided nature program or discover Mi'kmaq history.

Our accommodations include three spacious rooms: 2 with queen sized beds and ensuite baths, 1 with a double bed and twin bed with a private bath. All rooms have satellite television and telephones. A full, cooked breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., which you can enjoy in the sunlit dining room with cathedral ceiling and view of the lake, or on the sun deck by the pool. In season lobster dinners can be arranged. Cozy up to the old woodstove or play the piano in the large common room. Explore the landscape by hiking or canoeing. Whale watching can also be arranged. Visa, and MasterCard are accepted.
