Overlooking the golden sands of Queensland Beech and the whole of St. Margaret's Bay, the Surfside Inn is centrally located on the Lighthouse Route of the South Shore region of Nova Scotia. Originally built by a sea captain in the late 1800s, this country inn has been restored, keeping the Victorian elegance and antiques, while providing all the modern amenities. Our massive mahogany beds will make you feel like royalty as you snuggle under cozy duvets and let the rhythm of the waves lull you to sleep.

Queensland Provincial Park is located directly across from the Surfside Inn and offers supervised swimming. Other area activities include deep sea fishing, golf, bird watching, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and skating. We are also just a short drive away from the world-famous Peggy's Cove lighthouse.

Our accommodations include eight units with single, double or queen beds, ensuite whirlpool baths, cable television, DVD player, wireless Internet, radio, ceiling fan, hairdryer, duvet, and an ocean/lake view. A full, healthy breakfast is served from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in our licensed dining room. Join us for casual fine dining at the beach, either in the Victorian Inn or out on the deck.
