This immaculate Nova Scotia cottage is bright and airy with great ocean views. Downstairs there is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, chest of draws and plenty of closet space. A four-piece bathroom, casual living area and an open plan kitchen and dining room that are great for entertaining. Upstairs features a large family room with view of the ocean, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a second 3-piece washroom. Decorated with fishing memorabilia, this cottage pays homage to the Nova Scotia fisherman's way of life.

A large wooden deck takes advantage of the ocean view and is the perfect place to watch the sun set while breathing in the salt air and listening to the sound of the waves. To truly experience the Nova Scotia way of life, take to the waters in your own rowboat and try your hand at fishing. It's an experience you won't soon forget!

Slateville Cottage is located on the Blanche peninsula overlooking Eel Bay on Nova Scotia's famous Lighthouse Coast. Approximately 30 km east of the historic Loyalist town of Shelburne and 30 km west of Barrington Passage, the cottage is situated on a scenic oceanfront property with direct access to the bay. It's less than 100 meters from the cottage deck to the water's edge.

In spite of its secluded location, there is plenty to do at Slateville Cottage. The surrounding area offers restaurants, golf, sea kayaking, museums, galleries and of course, beautiful beaches. Blanche Beach is less than a 5-minute drive; Sand Hills Provincial Park is about 15 minutes away. A popular summertime event in the Barrington area, which is enjoyed by all ages, is the boat races usually held at the Causeway featuring outboards and up to 550Hp racing boats.

Shelburne is thirty minutes away; Yarmouth is an hour and twenty minutes away; while Lunenburg, Digby and Halifax are all pleasant day trips.
