Mountain Vista Seaside Cottages is centrally located on the Bras d’Or Lake Scenic Drive in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our accommodations include seven one-bedroom and two-bedroom (two-bath) cottages and motel-style rooms. This is an oceanfront property, with a gravel beach for swimming or beachcombing. One cottage is just 20 feet from the ocean. Four units have kitchenettes equipped with all the basics; all have air conditioning, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and most with fire bins. Each has a patio or deck, most with spectacular views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets over Kelly’s Mountain. The property has a basketball hoop, waterside benches, flower gardens, a wharf to fish from, a small canteen/gift shop, and a laundromat. We are pet-friendly.

We are in the Bras d’Or Lake Biosphere Reserve, and central for day trips to major attractions. Boat tours daily to see puffins, seals, and eagles are operated from the same site.
