The Mecklenburgh Inn is a heritage property built in 1902. It is located in the heart of Chester, a seaside village on the beautiful South Shore. Suzi provides a casual atmosphere to take off your shoes, kick back and relax. The hammock awaits you! Your innkeeper trained at London Cordon Bleu. She will serve up an eclectic breakfast in the dining room or you may wish to take it out on the back deck overlooking the garden.

Most activities in Chester are within walking distance of the Inn, including tennis, sailing, boat charters, bicycle rentals, sea kayaking or a round of golf at Chester Golf Club. The Chester Yacht Club is famous for its regattas, and the Chester Playhouse offers evening performances all summer with intermittent shows in the spring and fall seasons. Take a drive along the South Shore where many of Nova Scotia’s most scenic coastal vistas and historic attractions can be found, such as “Three Churches” in Mahone Bay and UNESCO Old Town Lunenburg.
