Depictions of Nova Scotia landscapes and cultural life are the themes for June Deveau’s artwork. The inspiration that guides June in her artwork is derived from her attachment to her Acadian heritage and culture. Her goal is to create art which evokes emotions within the viewer by using color, bold brushstrokes and movement.
June Deveau is a visual artist from Saint-Alphonse, a small village located in the Acadian Shore region, Clare. Since 1981, she has been practicing her art, taking part in art exhibits in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Louisiana.
