Country Haven Miramichi is a 3½ star, year-round outdoor adventure resort located on the riverbank of the world-famous Atlantic-salmon river, the Miramichi, located in central New Brunswick. Country Haven offers guest packages that can include air transportation from anywhere in the world, with choices ranging from "all-inclusive lodge accommodations" to "private self-catering 2- or 3- bedroom-cottage rentals". While staying at Country Haven, guests can enjoy single-day or multi-day packages that include fly fishing for Atlantic Salmon (our specialty), using private fishing pools on the river. With our ideal location in the province, guests can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, tubing, horseback riding, bear, moose, whale-watching tours and side by side tours. In winter, snowshoeing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing are available with cottage rentals. We are located within minutes of 2 golf courses and are known as "the one-stop destination for outdoor vacations in Eastern Canada." Each year, throughout the season, we offer special salmon-fishing packages. In 2016 these packages include 3 individual weeks of fly-casting clinics with world-class instructors from the U. K. and U. S. A.; a ladies fly-fishing week that will include daily single-handed casting lessons; and a "father and son" discount package. With all our packages, necessary equipment is provided.
