A private retreat high on the cliffs overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Look out at a beautiful view of the bay, the tides and ocean floor as you relax in your suite. The ocean shelf below is long and shallow, and when the tide recedes to its lowest point the ocean floor is exposed like nowhere else, roughly 1.6 km (1 mi.) out. Suites are equipped with many amenities, including a kitchen, fireplace and a deck with gas barbecue. A lobster pot and boiler are available for a ‘Fundy-style’ gastronomic experience. This is a special year-round destination for a much needed getaway, anniversary, honeymoon or special occasion. Herring Cove suite has a double whirlpool. Private entrance and parking. Each season has its own special charm and unique view. Even bad weather and fog formations can be interesting from this vantage point! Watch colourful lobster and scallop boats bob around on the bay, and be sure to bring your binoculars and camera as birds and wildlife abound. You’ll find no car horns or concrete here – just fresh salt air and trees! There is much to see and do in the surrounding area as well. The trails in Fundy National Park are some of the best in Canada, and remain well groomed in the winter for snow activity.
