One of the finest examples of ecclesiastical Gothic architecture in North America. The cathedral was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and the cornerstone was laid in 1847. Parish dates from 1699. Cathedral is home to largest collection of stained glass windows by C. E. Kempe in North America. Enjoy the sound of the casavant organ (3564 pipes) every Wednesday at 1:15pm at the lunch time concert. Many other items of interest. Guided tours beginning of June to end of September.
