Acadia Park

One of the finest examples of reclaiming a former mining site is Acadia Park. One could not find a more beautiful park with its walking trails, children's playground and Miner's Memorial. The park offers an excellent place for visitors to the Town to come and picnic, relax, listen to music or walk on the trails and reflect upon nature. 

Acadia Park's trail system is approximately 1km long of gravel based walking trails. This trail loops through Acadia Park from entrances on South Mainstreet, Hoyt Street and Drummond Road. 

With year round grooming the trail provides a walking service 365 days a year. Acadia Park is fully serviced with washrooms, interpretive signage, benches and picnic areas. The trail is on-leash pet friendly and provides full cell phone service.

Located in the the Town of Westville, Acadia Park is located just 2 minutes from the 289 collector Highway. It is an excellent trail location for local and out of town visitors.
