A Charming Victorian Bed & Breakfast is centrally located in historic downtown Sydney, part of the Cape Breton Island region of Nova Scotia. Guests will stay in a turn-of-the-century home with Victorian charm and modern luxuries, on a tree-lined street in the downtown area, within walking distance of restaurants and local attractions.

Walk to Cossit House, the oldest house in Sydney, which stands much as it did when it was built. This site features costumed guides and 18th-century furniture. Guests may also wish to visit St. Patrick's, circa 1828, Sydney's oldest Roman Catholic Church and now a museum featuring local memorabilia. A half-hour drive away is the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, where you will find yourself transported back in time as costumed actors re-create the lives of the residents from 1744.  Before returning to our accommodations, you may wish to take in a show at the Louisbourg Playhouse, a unique 17th-century Elizabethan-style theatre.

Our accommodations include three spacious air-conditioned rooms with queen beds, ensuite 4-piece baths, cable television, in-room phone and wireless Internet. A full, deluxe breakfast is included and is served between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. A fridge and kettle are available for guest use in the sunroom.
