Well what a terrible day to pack up and head for the South Shore. Raining Cat's and Dog,s.
We really have to check out Riser Beach this weekend and perhaps take in a Dinner theater at the Italy Cross, Middlewood & District Fire Department. We are told it is amazing. As usual Karen will be posting about our adventure after its done but if I can sneak in a Facebook post here and there I will.

Took an unexpected trip overnight to Moncton, New Brunswick for business. Didn't get to see a lot of Moncton but needed to comment on the Comfort Inn East on Maplewood Drive where we spent a restful night and enjoyed a hot meal in the morning for breakfast.
Important to us with 2 dogs the place is pet-friendly and they don't charge extra (one hotel we called wanted a $200 deposit and $20 per dog per night).
Staff were very friendly and helpful with information on where to order pizza etc. and everything listed on their website, was in the room which was clean with a well-laid out bathroom.
We requested a room on the first floor with a patio door that made it very easy to get our "girls" (canine ones) out for a walk. There was a quiet residential area just behind the hotel which took us to a park which was an unexpected bonus.

First trip of our camping season planned for the May long weekend. We’ve booked at the Plantation Campground (210 W Steadman Rd, Berwick.) Number of events planned for campers, according to their website. Our plan is to attend the adult dance. Also, it's Karen’s birthday (a significant one!!!) so intending to dance up a storm. Gary hopes she can find a partner - he’s kidding (I hope!)
